The Business Club meets every other Thursday for the fall semester. Meetings will be conducted from 3:45-4:15pm and consist of the following objectives:

• Basic banking accounts
• Cheque writing
• Pros and cons of credit cards
• Debt and equity securities (stocks and bonds)
• Tax sheltered accounts
• Insurance
• Interest Rates and Taxes

Students will be able to apply and implement concepts learned in the meeting to a stock simulation game that will conclude at the end of the semester.

The club is for anyone at Metropolitan Preparatory Academy interested in obtaining financial literacy to make educated financial decisions in the real world.
