How to Apply

Complete the online application form

Begin by completing our online application form. During this process, you will need to submit:

  • Most recent report card
  • Year-end report cards from the previous two academic years
  • Birth certificate or passport

Please ensure that all form fields are complete before submitting, as the application information cannot be edited once submitted. You can save your work and return to complete and submit it at any time.

Initial interview

Once we receive your completed application and documents, our admissions team will contact you within two business days to schedule an interview.

This conversation, which can be conducted either in person or online, will focus on your child’s academic goals, personality, and compatibility with Metro Prep’s unique learning environment.

The interview is designed to allow us to get to know you and your child better, as well as provide an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Student Assessment

Grades 7–9

Students entering grades 7–9 are required to complete our entrance examination, which measures abilities in mathematics, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and reading comprehension (optional for students who have completed the SSAT).

The test is primarily diagnostic in purpose – your child will never be reduced to a score at Metro Prep

Grades 10–12

For students entering grades 10, 11, and 12, admission is based on current academic records.

Admissions Decision

After reviewing all documentation, test results (if applicable), and the interview, we will notify you of our decision. If accepted, you’ll be invited to submit completed registration forms to secure your child’s placement.
