On January 23, 2025, Metro Prep students headed north for a day on the slopes at Blue Mountain, trading the classroom for skis, snowboards, and a few solid wipeouts along the way.
For some students, it was a chance to build on skills they already had. For others, it was their first time on the hill, and the mountain gave them room to figure it out at their own pace.
Once the lifts closed for the afternoon, the group made their way down to Blue Mountain Village to warm up, grab something to eat, and wander the shops before heading home. It was a low-key end to a high-energy day, exactly the kind of pairing that makes a ski trip feel complete.
Between the slopes and the village, it added up to a full day away from the usual routine, and for a lot of students, a solid first try at something new.
