The Metro Prep Debate Club is off to a strong start this year! With student interest continuing to grow, Metro Prep is preparing to send two teams to the 2027 Ontario Ethics Bowl Toronto regional competition on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at the University of Toronto’s St. George campus.

The Ethics Bowl offers a unique approach to traditional debate. Teams go head-to-head to discuss challenging moral questions and dilemmas, examining different perspectives and defending their positions. Unlike traditional debates, students are encouraged to engage with opposing arguments and may even reconsider their original views when presented with a compelling case.

With so many enthusiastic students joining the club and passionate about getting their point across, there is plenty of excitement ahead as both teams prepare for February’s competition!
