On Monday, October 5, Metro Prep hosted a university information session led by teacher and guidance counsellor Jaclyn Kocalevski. Thank you to all the students and parents who attended and took part in the session.

Attendees learned about the university application process, key steps and important dates, scholarship opportunities, and the variety of post-secondary pathways available to them.

The session is part of Metro Prep’s ongoing support for students as they research post-secondary options and prepare for university applications. Throughout the year, students have also had opportunities to attend presentations from universities visiting the school and to learn more about their options at the Ontario Universities’ Fair.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of fall campus days and open houses taking place at universities across Ontario in October and November. These events are a great way to visit campuses and explore programs as students plan their next steps.
