The Metro Prep Boys Volleyball Team closed out an outstanding season with a well-earned spot in the U20 SSAF Playoffs, hosted at Toronto Waldorf School.

This past Monday, the team took the court for their playoff tournament, delivering one of the highlights of the season. In a group stage matchup, the boys defeated reigning champions Toronto Waldorf School, handing them their second loss of the season. Their first loss, fittingly, was to Metro Prep earlier in the year. A clutch final spike from Jibril Richardson sealed the win, capping off what would be captain Sepehr Enayati’s final game with the team.

The result was a fitting finish to a season built on steady growth. Throughout the year, the team notched multiple impressive victories and showed consistent improvement, determination, and competitive spirit game after game. Led by co-captains Aaron and Sepehr, and with many new players joining the roster, the group built strong chemistry through hard work, trust, and a shared commitment to getting better every day.

That chemistry showed. The players supported one another, communicated well, and met challenges head-on, qualities that turned a group of individuals into a cohesive, resilient team. On and off the court, they represented Metro Prep with pride, showing exceptional teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership.
