On June 9, 2025, Metro Prep students and staff swapped classrooms for roller coasters, closing out the school year with a trip to Canada’s Wonderland.

The day unfolded entirely outside the classroom. Between the roller coasters, midway games, and time together, friendships built throughout the year naturally carried into a new setting. Teachers rode alongside students, waited in line, and shared a few sweet treats. It was a change of pace that students seemed to appreciate.

Trips like this serve a distinct purpose at Metro Prep. After ten months of coursework and projects, the year-end outing offers a chance to recognize what everyone has accomplished in a setting that is simply fun. It is less about the destination than it is about enjoying the day together as a school community.

It was a simple and well-earned end to a busy year. Thank you to the students and staff who made the 2024-2025 school year one to remember. We look forward to seeing everyone back in September.
