Senior Boys Basketball Crescent Invitational

The Metro Prep Senior Boys Basketball team had a productive weekend at the Crescent Invitational Tournament. The Predators won their opening round game versus Agincourt Collegiate 77-59, and then defeated O’Gorman from Timmins 53-40 to advance to the playoff round.

In the semifinals, Metro faced a tough Crescent team and won a close game 62-57 to advance to the championship. In the final, the team lost to William Lyon Mackenzie 70-61, and Marko M. and Emmanuel C. were named to the tournament all-star team.

This brings the team record to 24-9, and the boys look to continue their success this upcoming weekend at the David Suzuki Call Of The Wild Tournament in Brampton.
