On Tuesday and Wednesday, we attended the SSAF Ultimate Co-Ed Frisbee competition at Sheppard's Bush Soccer Fields, for both elementary and U20 levels. The Metro Prep Senior Boys Varsity Basketball team won their second consecutive tournament of the New Year, overcoming a 13 point deficit and beating Ashbury College 70-52 in the final with another strong defensive performance.
The veteran group beat St. Andrews College (Aurora), Selwyn (Montreal) and Crescent (North York) to extend their win streak to 11 games. Jeremiah G was voted a Tournament All-Star while Amari N won Tournament MVP.

Metro Prep's Varsity Basketball Team competed in the "Battle of the Borders" tournament in Cincinnati, OH over the weekend.
The team came out strong, winning the first three games by an average of 21 points. The championship game needed an extra frame, a game clinching corner 3 by Solomon Bell-Higgins, and two clutch free throws by Amari N'Daw in order to complete the sweep and win the championship 56 - 51.
