As you may have heard, the Ministry of Education has announced that all schools in Ontario, including private and independent schools, will postpone Spring Break until Monday April 12.

While we may find this adjustment to be disappointing and frustrating, we also understand that this was a difficult decision at the Ministry and was not taken lightly. Thankfully, the “March Break” is not cancelled, but rather pushed into the month of April.

The Easter holiday weekend, April 2 through April 5, will not change and classes will continue through to Friday April 9.

Metro Prep’s 2 week Spring Break will begin on Monday April 12, and students will return to school on Monday April 26.

The hybrid schedule, which we are excited to resume next week, will now continue through to April and the beginning of our new Spring Break.

Let’s all work together and support each other as we look forward to a well-deserved break – one which will hopefully be filled with even nicer weather, more sunshine, and better opportunities to enjoy the outdoors safely and comfortably!
