The Metro Prep Senior Boys Basketball team had a successful outing at the Central Peel SS Basketball Tournament on November 5th. In the first game, the team faced an experienced team from Maple Secondary School and ending up losing 77-62.
The next pool game versus St. Elizabeth (Vaughan) had a more successful result, and the Predators defeated St. Elizabeth 69-53. After the opening round, Metro Prep played in the third place consolation game versus St. Thomas Aquinas from Brampton. Metro Prep defeated Aquinas 59-55 to win the tournament bronze. With the successful tournament result, the team record improves to 5 wins and 2 losses.
Upcoming games include an exhibition rematch with Maple at their home gym on November 10th, and the Basketball Stars of America Fall Wrap-up in Pittsburgh on November 13th-15th.
