The Metro Prep D-Street Band is back, and the school halls are once again filled with energy and sound!
Rehearsals are in full swing every Tuesday and Thursday, launching the arts season with a talented group of student musicians and vocalists.
The band is wasting no time, already preparing for its first major performance of the year. In observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the ensemble will honour the legacy of the late Gord Downie.
Through his iconic songs, the D-Street Band will celebrate his legacy and engage the school community in a meaningful reflection.
