As the final days of the school year glide to a close and summer beckons, I want to take a moment to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together—and look ahead with excitement.
🎓 Reflections on 2024–25
Growth & Resilience: Whether mastering complex concepts, tackling group projects, or stepping outside comfort zones, each of you has shown tremendous determination. From sports to the stage, from debates to robot-building- your courage to try, adapt, and persevere is admirable. (Especially…the Raspberry Pie)
Community & Kindness: This year, our school community came alive with compassion. Whether students mentoring younger classmates, organizing events, or simply offering a friendly hello, you’ve all contributed to a more inclusive, caring school.
Creativity & Curiosity: Metro Prep thrives on curiosity—from spectacular monologues to thought-provoking essays. Encourage your creative spark to burn brightly all summer long!
A Message for Summer
As summer unfolds, I encourage you to:
- Stay Curious: Read broadly, explore new hobbies, and ask “why” in all you do.
- Connect with Others: Visit family and friends, make new acquaintances, or volunteer in the community—especially here in our vibrant Toronto neighbourhoods.
- Rejuvenate: Spend time outside, play sports, or just relax—your mental and physical health are essential.
- Reflect & Set Goals: Think about the year past—what made you proud, what challenged you —and set one or two positive intentions for the year ahead.

- To our graduates: Take a moment to acknowledge your years of hard work, strong relationships, and the friendships forged here.
- To our returning students: Be proud of the progress you’ve made and carry that confidence forward.
- To all members of the Metro Prep Community: Thank you for creating a warm and enriching environment. Your contributions have shaped our school’s heart and soul.
