Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
With the recent government announcement to reopen Toronto schools for in-person learning after next week, Metro Prep will be returning to an altered school schedule.
Beginning Tuesday February 16th (after the Family Day holiday), we will follow our previous hybrid schedule that blends our in-class teaching with online, at-home instruction, taking place on alternating days.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays all students will continue to attend school at regular times for in-person learning.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, all students and teachers will use Zoom for live, at-home instruction during regular times.
Please note that Tuesday the 16th is a special day which will take place in person, at the school. This first Tuesday is a “Welcome Back” exception to our Tuesday and Thursday Zoom @Home schedule.
This temporary change will be in effect until Monday March 8th when Spring Break commences. At that time, we will reassess the situation.
For all students, ongoing in-person attendance is required. Tests and major assignments will be completed at the school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Also on these days, the submission of Health Screening questionnaires will continue through Edsby each morning before Metro Prep students enter the building.
