York University Comes to MetroPrep

MetroPrep students will have the opportunity to connect directly with York University when a university representative visits the school on Tuesday, September 15.

The presentation will give students an opportunity to learn more about York’s undergraduate programs, admissions pathways and university experience, while asking questions directly of a university representative as they begin considering their post-secondary options.

Located in Toronto, York University offers more than 150 programs across its Keele, Glendon and Markham campuses, with opportunities spanning business and economics, engineering and technology, health and life sciences, the arts, sciences, education and many other fields.

University presentations at MetroPrep give students the opportunity to move beyond websites and program guides and speak directly with representatives from the institutions they are considering.

Students are encouraged to come prepared with questions about programs of study, admission requirements, campus life, experiential learning and other aspects of the university experience that are important to them.

The York University presentation is part of MetroPrep’s ongoing university guidance program, which helps students explore their options, understand different pathways and make informed decisions about their future.
