FULL DISCLOSURE

Since September 1999, the Ministry of Education has required full disclosure on student transcripts of all Grade 11 and 12 results.  Please note that if you wish to drop a fall semester grade 11 or 12 course you must do so in writing by Wednesday November 19, 2008.  After this date, all marks will be placed on the transcript whether the student fails, passes or drops the credit.

GRADUATION PHOTOS

Students graduating from Grade Twelve this year will have their graduation photos taken on Wednesday November 26th and Thursday November 27th. The Grade Eight graduates will have their photos taken on Monday February 9th. Graduates are asked to wear a white shirt with a collar. Male students please bring a tie.

SATs

Additional test dates for students interested in writing the SATs are January 24, May 2, and June 6, 2009.  In order to write on Saturday January 24th, 2009 you must have registered by December 26th, 2008.

Please note that the school does not register students for these tests.  Registration should be completed online at www.collegeboard.com using our school code 826118.  More information regarding the SATs is available in the guidance office.

UNIVERSITY APPLICATION MEETINGS

In October, November and December all Grade Twelve graduation candidates will meet with Sue Dhillon and Debra Mckelvey-Cleveland with respect to their Ontario university applications.

Many representatives from the Ontario Universities will be visiting our school throughout the fall. Students will be given a list of the visiting schools and specific dates and times.

Grade 10 English Literacy Test

All students who entered Grade 9 in September 2007 will write the Grade 10 English Literacy Test Thursday April 2, 2009.
